Bye Bye Liver

Comedy and binge drinking are two strong Chicago traditions combined in Bye Bye Liver. Ten years ago, the show began with a three-week run that kept getting extended. In order to illustrate the vibrant drinking culture of the city, a group of four to six performers plays characters. Every performance includes interactive audience drinking activities that let you sip a beverage or beer while following the actors’ prompts. After the performance, if you’re up for a nightcap, you can stay for the after-party and socialize with the cast.

Human+Nature

See eight towering sculptures by South African artist Daniel Popper at the Morton Arboretum’s new outdoor show, which scatters the 15- to 26-foot-tall works throughout the natural area. The one-of-a-kind pieces in “Human+Nature” are made of glass-reinforced concrete, wood, fiberglass, and steel and feature human figures that evoke the natural landscape. Moreover, there is a guide that will make it simple for you to organize your visit and spot all eight sculptures along the route.
