Alia Bhatt (born 15 March 1993) is an Indian-born British actress who appears primarily in Hindi films. She has won several awards including four Filmfare Awards. One of India’s highest-paid actresses, she has appeared on the Forbes India 100 Celebrity 100 since 2014 and she won the TIME100 Impact Award in 2022. Making her childhood debut with her 1999 thriller Sangarshi, she landed her first leading role in the teen film Student of the Year (2012) directed by Karan Johar.

Alia Bhatt was born in the Bhatt family on 15 March 1993 to Indian film director Mahesh Bhatt and actress Sonia Razdan.
